The Vendor Database Administration Module is a standalone module within QBIX Version 2. Users are able to capture and maintain supplier information, as well as extract supplier related reports. The module has its own overview and dashboard, includes a quick and advanced (rotational basis) search, supplier self-service management, a supplier assessment facility, and cataloguing of data/information.
In addition, users are able to generate request for quotations to invite vendors/suppliers on a rotational basis to submit quotations for goods and/or services required. Functionality for the capturing of orders issued to suppliers has been included within the module to allow users to track the spending activities of an Institution in real-time, provide accurate reports of spend analysed against a vast number of different variables.
